Food Rescue
Every week, we gather at 6 am with a small group of volunteers and make the 2 hour trek to Ontario, California with a few borrowed trucks and trailers. There we are given the opportunity to hand-pick items for our mountain community that would otherwise be discarded. We bring back multiple tons of good food and drinks, which we hand out to waiting individuals and families in need.
Easter Baskets
Our volunteers build and hand out custom Easter baskets each spring.
Thanksgiving Turkeys
Cahuilla Band of Indians $3500 donation made it possible
Grocery Stores
- We also make weekly food runs to grocery stores where they provide us with free food that otherwise would be thrown away.
- Sometimes the ‘sell by’ date has been reached.
- Sometimes inventory must be cleared from shelves for new product.

“Never did we imagine
that we
would be serving
over 465 people!
What a blessing,
and what a miracle
for our community!
We thank God
for every volunteer
and for our
fabulous 5!”
